Automatic side shift rotary tiller Suitable for small tractors

The technical development of the manual side shift rotary tillers has led to the automatic side shift machines. The automatic rotary tillers can operate both in a centered position and in a side-shifted position and, thanks to the hydraulic system driven by mechanical sensors, they automatically avoid any type of obstacles they may meet in the field. This specific feature allows to operate in vineyards and orchards, working also the soil between the plants on the row. The automatic side shift rotary tillers are equipped with an hydraulic system which is indipendent from the tractor one, thus ensuring a fast and regular movement in all working conditions.

Technical specifications

Main frame very rigid, thanks to the double shielded box section and to thick steel sheets.

Working width up to 230 cm (HV model)
The robust construction and the high quality standards allow to work with
large working widths and with significant side off-set, up to 220 cm from the tractor centre line.

Side shift mechanism through a chrome-vanadium front bar
This feature allows a smooth side-shift and doesn’t generate tension to the frame of the machine.

Oil bath thrust sealing system for a perfect protection of rotor bearings (HV model)
These thrust steel seals are water and dust proof, and they are usually used for crawler tracks of industrial machines.

Side-shift automatic mechanism tested since many years
Designed and developed since the 70’s, it has then been adopted by all manufacturers, thus becoming the benchmark. The promptness of the sensor and the quick reactivity of the hydraulics allow to work in narrow spaces and in proximity to plants.

Optimal levelling of the tilled soil
The rear tailgates have been designed to allow better soil levelling. The most important features of tailgates are the shape, rigidity and weight.

Versatility

Special fruit guards
The HF and HFF models (only working width 205 and 230) can be supplied with a plastic protection guard which prevents the machine to damage the trees with low foliage.

Possibility to effectively work below trees by using the various versions available (HV model)
The vineyard version (HV), the orchard version (HF) or the orchard off-set version for trees with large foliage (HFF) are 3 versions of the same machine. The only difference between these 3 models is the position of the machine when not side-shifted, therefore the position of maximum side shift compared to the centre line of the tractor.
