Sommet de l’Elevage, one of the most important European meetings devoted to the professionals of livestock and agriculture on wide extensions, scheduled in France from 4 to 6 October, will be the stage for the launch of Z-ex, the machinery result of the partnership between the German company of the same name and Celli.
This is a harrow with big dimensions (the working width ranges from 3 to 9 meters), able to operate as a universal mulcher, and appropriate for crops like corn, rape, cereals and sunflowers. Compared to a traditional mulcher, it can also work the surface of soil (2-3 cm.), thus being more efficient in fighting some given pests that settle in the stems of the crops, that the tool is able to cut down to the root.
Compared to mulchers with knives, it can better adapt to the different types of soil thanks to the chain-based operation and can also be used in deep hollows; it also ensures low wear of tools over time and reasonable costs for spare parts. These benefits are completed by very low consumption (the machine reaches a speed of 16 km/h).
The two Z-ex versions can be discovered in the space for the Celli company at Sommet de l’Elevage (Booth M2118, Esplanade 2): Farmer (fixed models from 70 to 130 HP) and Profi (fixed models from 120 to 200 HP and folding models from 150 to 300 HP).
