Vietnam is one of the biggest grower of rice, as well as sugar cane, sweet potatoes, coffee and tea. Agricultural mechanisation is starting now, in order to allow a better standard of living to a population of 80 million people.

Our goal is to play a leading role in the agricultural mechanisation of the Country, thus strengthening our long established position in the South-East.

This year 5 new models have been shown for the first time:

• Jazz: fixed or side-shift, small and low-cost rotary tiller
• Sirio: fixed or side-shift mulcher for tractors up to 50HP
• Mizar: fixed or side-shift mulcher for tractors up to 80 HP
• Mira: mulcher with pick-up rotor for tractors up to 100 HP
• Taurus: heavy-duty side-shift mulcher for tractors up to 120 HP

and many technical improvements have been introduced on the models already in production.

Even though the general economic situation is not favourable, Celli customers have been interested both in the new products and in the fresh and colourful booth setting.
With a little of optimism the year 2009 will certainly be better!

The 2004 edition of the exhibition in Bologna has confirmed that the sector of agricultural mechanization, in spite of all the ups and downs registered in the last couple of years, is still vital and ready to take advantage of all the opportunities offered by the emerging markets.

The Celli company, which is closing a rather successful year, has welcomed some new and important foreign distributors, with whom the sales policy guidelines for the next season have been discussed. With the domestic market dealers network a pre-season sales plan has been defined, together with some more product developments that should be made available in the next few months. The company has been pushing a lot the product development in the last few year and can offer today a completely renewed range.

On the 21st and 22nd of August an important Agricultural Machinery Show took place in the Japanese island of Hokkaido. The Celli distributor showed the complete range of power harrows and also some new Celli mulchers that are now being tested in that area to evaluate the potential of the local market.

Japan is a more and more important market for Celli, in which it is crucial to introduce reliable products and offer a high level of customer service. The Company has frequently got useful indications for further product development from the suggestions received by the demanding Japanese end-users.

Some Celli implements have been recently exhibited in Kaunas ( Lithuania ), where the local Celli importer is starting to promote PTO driven equipment for soil preparation.

The positive feed-back got during the show allows to expect interesting sales development in the medium-term.
